Nurliza Zuhra, Rosmala Dewi, Syarifah

Abstract

Development research using 4D models. The subjects of this study were students of class B1 RA Az-Zahra, totaling 14 children. The purpose of this study was to produce an appropriate and effective circuit loop game in improving gross motor skills for children aged 5-6 years in RA Az-Zahra. The results showed that the material expert with a percentage value of 93% means very good, media expert with a percentage value of 92% means very good, and layout expert with a percentage value of 95% means very good. The average value of gross motor skills obtained by children at the initial observation stage and final observation has increased in height from 39 to 84. Based on the results of this acquisition, it can be said that children already have gross motor skills.

The data was obtained through a research instrument in the form of a self-efficacy questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data were analyzed by ANOVA test and previously carried out a pre-requisite test including normality test and homogeneity test with a significant level of 0.05. The results of data analysis show that the average self-efficacy shows an increase in the experimental class is 57.15 and the control class is 52.5 with a value of Fcount = 20.938, because 20.938 > Ftable = 4.08, then there is an effect of the project based learning model on self-efficacy .

State University Of Medan

Abstract

Problems with mathematical concepts and algorithms are increasingly being demanded from students to better understand mathematics lessons. This study aims to describe the ability of students to understand mathematical concepts and algorithms as well as to analyze the difficulties experienced by students in understanding concepts and algorithms in mathematics learning after the learning process is carried out with the application of realistic mathematical education (RME) models assisted by algebrator software. The subjects of the study were students of class X Mia 2 SMA Private ASSISI Siantar, totaling 31 students. The research instrument is a test of the ability to understand concepts, mathematical algorithms and interview guidelines. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed: (1) The students^ ability to understand mathematical concepts on the material of a system of linear equations. Three variables in the Assisi Siantar High School students in class x mia 2 belong to the Medium category, this can be seen from the results of the average score of each indicator, worth in 59.43. (2) Ability of Mathematical Algorithm students of SMA Assisi Siantar class x mia 2 on the material of linear equation system. Three variables are classified at the moderate level of ability, this can be seen from the results of the score on each indicator that is still in the average category of 55.2. (3) The difficulties experienced by students in completing the ability test for understanding mathematical concepts and algorithms in learning mathematics with the Realistic Mathematical Education learning model with the help of Algebrator software have difficulty understanding concepts, difficulties in applying principles, and also difficulties in implementing operations.

Abstract

Many factors influence the development of elementary school students and their education. The online learning he experienced was one of them. This is due to the lack of stimulation during online learning, many teachers have difficulty in making learning modules and managing distance learning, the busyness of parents due to work results in a lack of assistance in learning and playing for children. This study was aimed at determining the developmental disorders in elementary school children during online learning. The participants in this study were teachers and parents at four private elementary school institutions in Medan. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive techniques and content analysis. collecting data through field observations and interviews. ATLAS.ti application used to displays research data. Research findings show that online learning has an effect on psychosocial development disorders of children at elementary school age, namely the limited interaction of children with other people and reduced communication skills. This disorder has implications for the alienation of children in their daily social life.

Megalas Maria Sitanggang

UNIMED

Abstract

Interesting learning will certainly motivate students to want to take part in learning because teachers are expected to have competence in developing teaching materials that will be taught to students. Teaching materials used in the learning process is one of the important factors in improving the quality of learning. With the existence of teaching materials, it can be said that the teacher is no longer the only source of learning in the classroom. The teacher can be a facilitator who helps and directs students in learning. Teaching materials for this rhyme material were made with the help of Pop Up Book media to attract students^ attention back to the material, especially in Batak Toba language according to the characteristics of students.
This type of research is development research that refers to the ADDIE model. The results of this study illustrate that teaching materials for rhymes with the help of Pop Up Book media are feasible and effective to use in learning in class V at SDN 173131 Taruturung and improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve higher order thinking skills and student learning outcomes through the implementation of discovery learning resources in teaching of cations analysis in Group IV and V. This study was conducted at the State University of Medan at the academic year 2022/2023. The reseach involved 60 students and divided into two classes, namely the experimental class which was taught with discovery learning resources and the class control is taught with the student handbook. The implementation of discovery learning resources could improve students higher order thinking skills as seen in the preparation of project plans 75.89 and project reports obtained 81.94. The learning outcomes in the experimental class 84.90 are higher than the scores in the control class 77.33. It is concluded that discovery learning media with the acquisition of standardized values 3.57 is very feasible to be implemented in the teaching of Analytical Chemistry

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative guided inquiry-based learning resource as a strategy for achieving student competence in the teaching of Analytical Chemistry. The research was conducted during the Covid 19 pandemic, involving 30 undergraduate students. Research stages include the development of innovative learning resources based on guided inquiry to guide students to conduct investigations, include asking, researching, reporting investigation result, and share finding information to hone students higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). The implementation of innovative learning resources has succeeded in facilitating students to actively learn independently and presenting theirs. Subjective assessment of HOTS based on the investigation report for three aspects of analysis, evaluate, create classified as high 85.07. Guided inquiry-based learning succeeded in facilitating students to learn Analytical Chemistry, and students mastery of Cation Analysis was assigned to be high 83.16. Guided inquiry-based learning is appropriate use to build HOTS as a strategy in achieving students learning competencies
