One hundred and fifty respondents who live in the Sleman district, Yogyakarta have been interviewed. The statistical method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the factors that influenced household behavior towards fruit and vegetable food waste. The results of the study showed the quantity of vegetables is 4,9 kg per household/week and fruits food waste is 10,7 kg per household/week. Food management factors such as planning habits and storage management have a 49,5% correlation to increased perceived behavioral control.
