Abstract

The high level of population growth in Surakarta is comparable with the increasing need for clean water. The availability of clean water has not increased in terms of quantity. So, arise problems related to the provision of clean water. The problem is that the high level of water loss in the public company of Toya Wening Water supply area of Surakarta is 39% in 2016 and 39.26% in 2019. In addition, the clean water level of the local company of Toya Wening Water supply area of Surakarta is 57.29% in 2010 and the condition of distribution piping network that has been unfeasible and rusty. The purpose of this study is to assess existing conditions and review/discuss the transmission system and distribution of clean water in the regional company of Toya Wening Water supply in Surakarta city of Jebres village. The data required is primary and secondary data. The data that has been obtained is then examined by descriptive, calculative and comparative methods. The result is the public company of Toya Wening drinking water region in Surakarta has a high level of leakage of about 41.167%, village Jebres have a service level of 50.95%. Peak clock factors and maximum daily factors on the distribution network of 1.1 and 1.05 respectively.
